Now that the Worlds have finished and the boats are on their way home it is time to think about our next regatta.
But first a huge congratulations to all the Aussies who competed in New Zealand. Special congratulations to Jamie and Landy, Bundy and Adam for their achievements and to the Pols who upset all our plans. Big shoutout for a terrific regatta to Paul Neeskens who recorded some personal bests.
We are excited to be running our next Australian Champs at St. Leonards Victoria from 7th to 13th February 2026.
This will be our 60th year of A Class sailing and we will be having a special celebration dinner on Wednesday 11th Feb to honour champions, administrators, designers, builders and sponsors of the past and present. We will also be looking at the development of the class over those years. Time to start looking through the cupboards for any memorabilia you may wish to bring along. Displays will be available over the week in the clubhouse.
